- As the subject says, is it possible to (easily) share swap partition
- between NetBSD and Linux? I'd like to install (and use) Linux, too,
- but if it needs an own swap I have to reconsider it...
-
- I think that it can be done manually by changing the parameters
- in HDToolBox for the system I'm going to boot but is that all?
- Perhaps there is some information stored on that swap partition which
- needs to be initialized (filesystem or such)? Probably this can
- be solved by going first into single-user mode and making needed
- preparations but somehow this starts to feel a bit difficult...
-
-
- As a second question: can Linux use Berkeley FFS? That would make
- it easier to share files (eg. some large archives which I don't need
- on both systems all the time)... probably Linux can also use ADOS
- filesystem so I could put an ADOS partition for that purpose, if
- needed.
